Octopus, Squid, and Seals … Oh, My!

What a gorgeous day for a stroll along the waterfront, here in Tacoma! There is a new scenic walkway extension along the Commence Bay waterfront that leads to Ruston Point. In a just a few months, it will join up with Pt Defiance Park. Along the newest part of the walkway there are lovely, tiled rest areas with depictions of local, marine life of Puget Sound. Once again, I set up my wide angle lens and tried to capture as much of each of these tiled walkway areas as I could. Each tiled area had images of different marine life, including salmon, octopus, squid, anemones, seals, etc. Whoever was the master of this tile art did a fantastic job!

This is the lovely waterfront view I saw today. Lots of sunshine along with the puffy, white, cumulus clouds.
