Blossoming Plum Bonsai
I recently visited the Pacific Bonsai Museum, located in Federal Way, Washington. Saturday, April 8th will be the opening celebration of a new exhibit called “Natives.”
Below are a few photos I took of some of the fine specimens at the open-air museum, set in a natural forest setting.

The Pacific Bonsai Museum is open Tuesdays – Sundays, 10AM – 4PM. It is closed Mondays. Admission by donation.

Absolutely marvelous! If I had to choose a favorite it would be #7, the one with two or three different trees combined. I imagine it must take a whole lot of patience to create these.
Thank you, Gunta! Yes, #7 is quite a work of art! And did you know that some of these trees are hundreds of years old!
I may have read it somewhere along the line, but had forgotten. You should have mentioned that in your post! 🙂 It’s quite impressive.
That takes great skill to do that!
And to think that some bonsai artwork is hundreds of years old!
