Wonderful close ups.
I once saw the dragon lily in one or our botanical garden here in Belgium. 🙂
The Dragon Lily or Dragon Arum (Dranunculus vulgaris) is a rather odd looking flower with its long, protruding spadix. It’s sometimes called the “stink lily” due to it’s rotting meat smell when mature. The smell attracts flies that help pollinate it. I have been around one when it was giving off that horrible smell. Very unpleasant!
