A attended a fall festival at the Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden in Federal Way, Washington, this weekend, in which the garden was open free to the public. This was a great opportunity for anyone who had not visited the garden before. There is the Rutherford Conservatory located on site that houses an extraordinary exhibit of tropical Rhododendrons from around the world, as well as other tropical plant species. Right now, there are plenty of species in bloom. And while there, walk the many woodland trails that are part of this natural woodland garden, and enjoy the colors of autumn. Below are a few of the species of tropical plants that are blooming in the conservatory, currently.

The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is open throughout the year, Tuesday-Sunday.
